Kelly Jones, the iconic frontman of legendary welsh rockers Stereophonics, will perform at York Barbican on Saturday 14 September 2019!
Following a huge sold-out run of solo shows earlier this year, Kelly Jones has announced a visit to York as an additional date to his 'Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day' UK tour.
Widely known as one of the finest voices of his generation, the tour will give audiences a rare opportunity to see a unique and intimate performance across an evening of storytelling and songcraft in a stripped-back environment.
Expect to hear classic Stereophonics anthems such as 'Dakota', 'Just Looking', 'Have A Nice Day' and many more of the bands' biggest hits, as well as some of their rarely performed songs and tunes from his 2007 solo album, 'Only The Names Have Changed'.
Speaking ahead of his September tour, Kelly said, “I’ll be performing some old songs, lots of songs I don’t normally do, some new songs, songs that have inspired me and stories that have inspired me. The tour is about overcoming things and moving on from obstacles and building strength from that. I am looking forward to performing with some new musicians and creating some beautiful moments”
